In this fast-paced world it’s important to have a solid mindset as you settle into your 50’s so you can enjoy each new phase of your changing and evolving life. There’s no use in fighting change. Everything around us is in a continuous process of refining, improving, enhancing, and changing. The choice to embrace change and open up to the opportunities it brings is perhaps the greatest step towards releasing your greatest self. If you’re at a point in life where change is in order (career, retirement, friendship, health) remember—today is a new day. Dare to shake things up. Create an effectively mapped out plan—not one that only highlights the destination. Think of a giant map at a theme park. All the rides and attractions are highlighted, but there is one vital piece of information on the map. It’s usually in red bold type and says, “You Are Here.” You see, the creators of this map know that it would be difficult for you to get to where you want to go without first knowing where you are. Take an internal inventory of your strengths, ambitions, desires, and inspiration. Decide what you want, map it out and begin your journey. Your success will be built on four pillars: 1. Intent. The clarity of your intent will be in direct proportion with your likelihood to succeed.2. Vision. By visualizing the journey you help your subconscious mind move your dreams into a mindset of reality. 3. Action. Write out your blueprint for success. Let your actions reflect your goals—the best way to avoid self-sabotage. 4. Clarity. Maintain clarity by regularly referencing your plan of action. CELEBRATE TODAY Today, many will awaken with a fresh sense of inspiration. Why not you? Today, many will choose to leave the ghost of yesterday behind and seize the immeasurable power of today. Why not you? Today, many will break through the barriers of the past by looking at the blessings of the present. Why not you? Today, many will choose to free themselves from the personal imprisonment of their bad habits. Why not you? Today, many will choose to live free of conditions and rules governing their own happiness.
